Our Theology professor told us last Monday to look for the “Reverse Creation” in the cyberspace. I was completely clueless on our assignment. Since our topic that time is the two version of God’s creation (look for Genesis 1 and 2), I thought it would be something like that. Well, in some way, I was right.  It uses the same sentences pertained in the creation but kinda differ in a way this one is not about God creating the universe, but about man wanting to destruct everything.

REVERSE CREATION

In the end, we destroyed the heaven that was called Earth. The Earth had been beautiful until our spirit moved over it and destroyed all things.

And we said…

Let there be darkness… and there was darkness. And we liked the darkness; so we called the darkness, Security. And we divided ourselves into races and religions and classes of society. And there was no morning and no evening on the seventh day before the end.

And we said…

Let there be a strong government to control us in our darkness. Let there be armies to control our bodies so that we may learn to kill one another neatly and efficiently in our darkness. And there was no evening and no morning on the sixth day before the end.

And we said…

Let there be rockets and bombs to kill faster and easier; let there be gas chambers and furnaces to be more thorough. And there was no evening and no morning on the fifth day before the end.

And we said…

Let there be drugs and other forms of escape, for there is this constant annoyance – Reality – which is disturbing our comfort. And there was no evening and no morning on the fourth day before the end.

And we said…

Let there be divisions among the nations, so that we may know who is our common enemy. And there was no evening and no morning on the third day before the end.

And finally we said…

Let us create God in our image. Let some other God compete with us. Let us say that God thinks as we think, hates as we hate, and kills as we kill. And there was no morning and no evening on the second day before the end.

On the last day, there was a great noise on the face of the Earth. Fire consumed the beautiful globe, and there was silence. The blackened Earth now rested to worship the one true God; and God saw all that we had done, and in the silence over the smoldering ruins… God wept.

I was completely moved by this poem. And unfortunately, it’s becoming more of a reality nowadays. It is for sure that many people, just like me, will be inspired by this poem. I just hope I can thank the author in person for this exalting and one of a kind masterpiece. Seriously.

“Malacañang has  declared that the funeral and burial day of the former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino  on August 5 as a special non-working holiday.

The private funeral of Aquino will be held on the same day. She will be buried beside her late husband, Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. at the Manila Memorial Park.

According to deputy presidential spokesperson Lorelei Fajardo, the declaration of Wednesday as a special non-working holiday will allow the nation to witness the moments before Aquino is brought to her final resting place, radio dzMM reported.

A mass will be held at 9 a.m. at the Manila Cathedral before the burial.

Fajardo earlier announced that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has cut short her United States trip in order to make it to Aquino’s funeral service on Wednesday. Arroyo will leave New York for Manila on Saturday (Sunday in the Philippines).

The chief executive declared a 10-day period of national mourning (Aug. 1 to Aug. 10) over the death of Aquino through Proclamation No. 1850.

Aquino, 76, succumbed to colon cancer on Saturday at 3:18 a.m. Her wake is at the La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) gymnasium in Mandaluyong City.

The public viewing at LSGH began at 5 p.m. of Saturday and will continue until Monday. The daily viewing schedule will be until 4 a.m., and will resume at 7 a.m.”

Last night, while I was surfing the net I happen to pass by a site wherien they offer free streaming of movie films. I then watched “Slumdog Millionaire” and “X-Men Origins” first. And suddenly, I saw on the sidebar on the site the name Daniel Radcliffe. I clicked the link and saw that they have the movie December Boys there (one of Daniel’s film). It was a really touching heart melting movie. One of the film that must have a BoB Awards.

Well, I think it would be great to hear him “Please nominate me in the Best of the Best Awards”

But this morning was different. I don’t know why, but maybe because out professor was so energetic and I really like the topic we had for today. It’s about the the second highest valued precious metal on the world market. Golds.

I asked my Mom on what to give for Reign and she told me that designer baby clothes and barefoot dreams shoes will do. But those stuffs are kinda hard to find nowadays. ;( I look all over the mall yesterday but I failed. ;(( Good thing, my cousin Wendy from States will be going home next week and she told me that she’ll buy gifts from there and I’ll just have to pay her. Thank goodness and my problem was already solved. Haha.

I just hope the gifts will not be that expensive. Hehe. I’m really running out of funds nowadays because of our school projects ;( I hope Mom would give me more allowance next week Wish me luck!

And so, because I don’t have any time to go to the malls, I thought of buying gifts for her online. At first I thought, dress would be a nice gift. So to start off with my first entry, I’ve been addicted to the anime Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn these past few days. It’s about the young boy named Tsunayoshi Sawada, who was destined to be the next boss of the most powerful Mafia organization, the Vongola Family. And to become the most powerful hitman, Reborn (a gun-toting infant) is sent to tutor “Tsuna” on how to become a respectable boss.

Lambo is my favorite character of the all! This 5-year old boy who often called as “Crybaby Lambo” dresses in a cowsuit complete with a tail, and has a huge brocolli-like hair with horns on the sides of his head that gives him the appearance of a bison. He also have this Ten-Year Bazooka, that will turn him into his 10 year older self and will last for five minutes. Pretty cool stuff huh?

I’ve been told once that told me that if you have a clean footwear, (especially shoes) people around you will think that you’re a clean person. I mean, it’s not just the face that people would look at. Of course, they will also judge you in the way you dress, and of course the way your shoes strucks their eyes. Maybe that way, they can judge your personality. Right? ~

So, yesterday, i bought a pair of new running shoes from Sketchers and I really love it! The colors are loved! Perfect for the summer atmosphere. haha. I might buy again a new shoes next week. A boots maybe.
